How The Token Machine Works

Token Machine is a free daily spin game on tokenmachine.app. Match three of a model or lab, win AI tokens for that model or lab, and spend them in the in-app Playground.

Quick start

Open tokenmachine.app and sign in with X.
Go to Spin and use your free daily spins.
Three matching symbols = tokens for that model/lab in your account.
Open Playground, pick a model you have balance for, and chat.

Spins & prizes

Daily free spins

Every signed-in account gets 5 free spins per day. The count resets on a daily schedule (UTC). Unused spins do not roll over.

How a win works

Each reel shows models and labs. Three matching symbols in a row is a win.

You get an AI-credit balance (shown with a $ for denomination only — not cash) for that model or lab.
Prizes are model-locked. Claude spends on Claude. Grok spends on Grok. Balances do not convert into a shared pool.
Wins show under your prizes / profile and are ready to use in the Playground.

v1 is playground-only

No ERC-20 wallet withdraw — Redeem activates into Orbio AI only.
No transfers to other users.
No cashing out as fiat money or dollars. Balances are AI credits.

Wins are for inference inside Token Machine only.

Playground

Spend won balances in the in-app chat.

Pick a model from the dropdown (ones you still have balance for).
Each message burns that model's remaining balance.
When a balance hits zero, that model is done until you win more for it.
Inference runs through Orbio under the hood. You do not need a separate Orbio account or API key.

Multiple prizes can be spent independently by switching models.

Account & sign-in

Auth: Sign in with X only (via Privy).
Persistence: Spins, prizes, and Playground balances follow your account across devices.
New accounts: Very new X accounts may be blocked from spinning (anti-abuse).
One person, one account. Multi-accounting or spin farming can get limited or locked.

Rules & fairness

Daily spins are per account. Abuse can be rate-limited or locked.
Prize amounts, reel lineup, and daily rules can change. The live app wins if this page disagrees.
No scraping, automated spins, or bypassing account limits.
Prizes are AI credits, not cash or dollars, outside the product as described here.

FAQ

Is it free?

Yes. Daily spins are free with an X account.

Do I need crypto or a wallet to spin?

No. Sign in with X and spin. Holding $MACHINE or $ORBIO is optional.

Why can't I spend a Claude win on Grok?

Prizes are model-locked on purpose. Each win funds that model or lab in the Playground.

Can I withdraw winnings?

There is no ERC-20 cash withdraw. You can spend AI credits in the Playground, or Redeem (burn/activate $CREDIT into your own Orbio AI balance for an API key). That is not a fiat payout.

What if I don't use today's spins?

They expire at day reset. You get a fresh set the next day.

Where do won tokens go?

To your account as a balance for that model/lab. Open Playground (or Profile Use in Playground) to spend them.

Do I get an Orbio API key?

No. The Playground spends through house infrastructure inside the app.

Are you the Orbio team?

No. We are not affiliated with the Orbio team. We built Token Machine for Orbio Build Week and run inference on their stack.

What's $MACHINE for?

Project token on Robinhood Chain via Pons, paired with $ORBIO. Pair fees fund compute giveaways (90%) and development (10%). Not required to play.
